Overview
Patrick is a partner in Forbes Hare’s Investment Funds and Corporate Practice advising on both Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands law.
Experience
Patrick has over 27 years’ legal experience, 19 of which have been with leading Cayman and British Virgin Islands law firms. Patrick began his career in the investment funds industry at Henderson Global Investors, before moving back into private practice as an associate in the Investment Management Group at Linklaters in London. Prior to joining Forbes Hare, Patrick was a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright, and prior to that a partner with another top tier offshore law firm, where (amongst other things) he founded and headed that firm's Africa group. In addition to corporate and investment fund related transactions, Patrick has considerable experience of fintech and digital assets matters. Patrick is ranked by The Legal 500 as a leading individual in Singapore for offshore work.
