Overview

Paul has over 20 years’ experience in litigation, insolvency, arbitration and regulatory matters. His practice covers the full range of offshore work, including corporate and commercial disputes, contentious insolvency and restructuring matters, fund disputes, asset tracing and enforcement, freezing injunctions, disclosure orders and trust litigation.

Prior to moving to the Cayman Islands in 2018, Paul was a partner at DLA Piper in London in their Litigation & Regulatory team.  He previously worked at Slaughter and May in London, Herbert Smith Freehills in Tokyo, and spent time on secondment with Goldman Sachs and RBS/Natwest in London.  Before joining Forbes Hare, Paul spent five years as a partner with Harneys in the Cayman Islands.

Paul appears regularly as an advocate in the Grand Court and obtained Higher Rights of Audience in the UK. He sits on the Legal and Regulatory Committee of the Recovery and Insolvency Specialists Association, is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and speaks regularly at conferences on offshore legal issues.
