With a background in investment funds, asset management, regulatory compliance, and corporate transactions, Bronwyn is well-regarded for her strategic insight and deep understanding of the industry.
She began her career at Simmons & Simmons in Shanghai, after studying at Fudan University. Bronwyn spent over six years practicing in mainland China, making her one of the few offshore lawyers with China onshore legal experience..
Since 2010, Bronwyn has been a key member of the investment funds teams at leading offshore law firms in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Forbes Hare, she served as a Partner at Harneys, Westwood & Riegels, where she was pivotal in developing an award-winning investment funds team. Bronwyn was a founding partner and head of Asia Pacific at a Cayman Islands start-up law firm, affiliated with a major corporate service provider listed on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.
Bronwyn’s practice emphasizes the structuring, formation, and operation of a diverse range of alternative asset classes, including private equity, venture capital, hedge and hybrid funds, real estate funds, infrastructure projects, ESG initiatives, fintech, cryptocurrency, joint venture arrangements, and downstream private equity transactions.
